Brothers Josh and Zack Farro the lead guitarist and drummer of Paramore, have officially left Paramore. The band, now a threesome, issued the following statement via their website:

“A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday. None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn’t seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore. We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn’t here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere. But we never for a second thought about leaving any of this behind. We really hope that you can be encouraged by the fact that the three of us who are still here [Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Jeremy Davis] are ready to take on another chapter of our journey together…

UPDATE: Josh & Zac Respond!

Zac Farro has already formed a new band with musician Jason Clark called Tunnels. You can listen to their debut song, “Hide Your Eyes”, below. Thoughts?

The band has until February 16th when their South American Tour starts to find their replacements. There has been no word on who the replacements will be or if they have found any. Who do you think could replace them?

In related news, artist Serge Gay Jr said this via his Facebook: ‘Now I Get it! I’m working on Paramore stuff, and at first they told me to paint the whole band, and than they told me not to paint the band anymore to do something else. it’s because now two of the band members have left the group. The Brothers, Josh and Zack. sucks.’
