It’s that time of year again for another famous face to celebrate their special day. Happy birthday Jada Pinkett Smith! With so many achievements under her belt, she’s proven to be such an empowered female. This Baltimore beauty is an accomplished actress, appearing in hit movies such as Collateral, The Matrix Reloaded, Ali, and the animation The Secret Life of Bees – just to name a few. She also landed a role in the sitcom series a Different World and is now starring on TNT’s Hawthorne. And aside from being so great on screen, she is literally a rockstar on stage, too! In 2007 Jada launched her music career forming metal rock band – Wicked Wisdom. She is an accomplished actress, singer-songwriter, producer, director, author, and business woman. She definitely has a lot to be proud of!
This year has undoubtedly been a great year for the 5′ bombshell. In 1997 Jada married actor Will Smith, and together, Will and Jada founded the Smith Family Foundation, a charity organization which focuses on urban inner city youth and family support. We’re witnessing their entire family make a tremendous mark on the entertainmentindustry, but who knew what an overall powerhouse couple/family they would be?! Their sons Willard ‘Trey’ and Jaden Smith both set foot on the scene behind the camera. Trey appeared in the sitcom All of Us and Jaden starred in The Karate Kidremake. Their daughter Willow is a rising star who just put out a ridiculously great song titled Whip My Hair Back and Forth at only nine years old. What a talented bunch! In celebration, happy birthday Jada and congrats to the amount of success you and your family have encountered!
