Do not, absolutely do not, write Andreya Triana off as just another talented singer from the United Kingdom. It’s not that she’s so much more than that, as it is, she’s a talent deserving of attention. One of those voices worth hearing because it’s just plain good. It shouldn’t matter if she sounds like one of the great

Those familiar with the work of electronica artist, Bonobo (Simon Green) may have first heard Andreya Triana on his album, Black Sands. From there the two developed a musical parternship that stretched over into Andreya’s own work. Bonobo produced the title track and first single from Triana’s debut album, Lost Where I Belong. The album was released on September 7 and for those paying attention, they will be quick to call it one of the best soul albums to come out this year.

Beginning on November 4, Andreya will be on tour with Bonobo, hitting up venues throughout the U.S. Check her out, and listen to some of the songs we’ve selected here because Andreya Triana isn’t just some soul singer from England. She’s more like the most promising singers from England you haven’t heard yet.
