Libyan dictator Colonel Gaddafi ripped up a copy of the UN charter and threw it at officials during an embarrassing 96-minute rant at the annual meeting of the United Nations yesterday.

Clad in Bedouin robes, the Libyan leader accused the UK, America, Russia and China of treating smaller countries as ‘second class’ nations and called for Britain and the other permanent members of the UN Security Council to be stripped of their veto powers.

Speaking before the U.N. General Assembly, Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi staged a lengthy, rambling attack against the Security Council, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the ‘silent devils’ who don’t tell the truth.
