As I enter the final days before our tenth anniversary of Art For Life, our annual benefit that raises money for The Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, I think about the power of change.  The power that the arts have to change a child’s life.  I have witnessed it with my own eyes.  I have been hustling the last few weeks to get my friends to donate money and buy tables for this very beautiful event that will happen at my house in the Hamptons on Saturday evening.  A lot of my dear friends have made the commitment to giving children the opportunity to have the arts in their lives, including Oprah Winfrey and Alicia Keys, among many, many others.  Although they can give a large contribution, it is the smaller amounts that really add up.
It is vital that we continue to promote the inclusion of the arts in every child’s life, and I will work my hardest to make sure that happens.  Although many of you from around the country and around the world will not be able to join us this weekend, there still is a way to be included in this movement.

Please join us in supporting our children, by giving  $1.  Just 100 pennies or 20 nickels or 10 dimes or 4 quarters.

If we can get the entire Global Grind community to give $1, we will raise millions and in turn, empower more children through the arts and make this world a much better place!
