If I Could Ask President Obama one question, it would be:
Now that we’ve averted economic disaster, what is your vision of the future for America? How do we build a better country?
[pagebreak]My Proudest Obama was election night when he gave his speech in Grant Park in Chicago. I wasn’t there, but I was watching on television and it was incredible to see the hope and the emotion of such a wide range of Americans, especially the older African-Americans who had lived through Jim Crow and never thought they would see a black man ascend to the Presidency in their lifetime.
It made me appreciate their struggle and all they had to endure to be able to see this happen. It was a beautiful moment.
