I’m was very excited when Obama was elected as President. My main reason was because I thought it was a good thing for the people of America.
It was change. Not only for what he was promoting but it showed us that perceptions changed within our country. We needed that.
We needed it from the very beginning and we still need it. Change is an ongoing process that America will always need. This was just another good step to us becoming the country that we’re supposed to be.
I was never surprised to see how many supporters came out for Obama, even when they were musicians. I feel like we look at celebrities as if they’re not people. They are and that’s why I was never surprised to see anyone.
We’re all happy that he’s here and that he is doing what he is doing.
