Ever since the Lakers beat out the Celtics in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, there is one thing on everyone’s mind: Ron Artest’s post-game speech. The man thanked everyone he’d ever spoken to for over three minutes, including his psychiatrist, making him a hot topic for Twitter commentators and securing a spot for himself in YouTube-video-history.

In case anyone has forgotten:

The world’s fascination with Artest’s latest bout of verbal diarrhea reminds us of another YouTube favorite: Mike Tyson. They are both champions (Mike Tyson is still heralded as one of the best heavyweight fighters ever), they both have spent time on both the public’s good and bad sides (Artest for that Pacers/Pistons brawl and Mike Tyson for being a convicted rapist), and they both have a habit of saying whatever pops into their heads.

Watching Artest’s one-of-a-kind, post-game speech made us want to revisit a few of Mike Tyson’s jewels. He definitely knows how to keep his name in the news.

Not sure how a person breaks his back and still makes it through a boxing match, but it definitely made for an interesting interview.
