My what a difference a season can make. Tiny and Toya are set to begin their 2nd season of The Tiny and Toya Show. In part 2 of my sit down w/ Toya you’ll find out more about her relationship w/ Tiny and the advice Tiny gave her for Lil Wayne and much more.

TOYA ON DEALING WITH HER MOTHER’S ADDICTION: ‘Me and my mom have a pretty good relationship, things are still up and down, but I’m still supporting. You know trying to be there for her to help her overcome this addiction. I mean its just like, the hardest part for me is just wanting my mother to be off drugs. Because I’ve seen her maybe once or twice before off drugs. I just love her when she’s drug free and the hardest part is just after trying so hard and seeing them constantly go backwards… Its something I would never understand because I mean I’ve never tried drugs or never been addicted to it so I don’t know how serious it is. All I know is that I’m just trying to help her keep clean but it’s just really an illness.’

TOYA ON TINY’S ADVICE ABOUT LIL WAYNE’S PRISON SENTENCE: ‘She pretty much just told me The time is gonna fly and just be there for him. Make sure I take Reginae to see him, write him, ya know to help the time fly by. She also told me if i needed anything that she’s here, she’s been very supportive.’

Toya is also in the process of writing a book which she intends to be the female version of Hill Harper’s book ‘Letters To A Young Brother’ Her book originally started out as a memoir, but she changed the concept telling me ‘I decided to do something more inspirational like letters to my younger self’ Throughout the conversation I got a feeling of Toya’s strength, she’s been through so much, and she’s still going on strong. She’s shy and very humble, to have accomplished so much saying ‘I’m always afraid of failure like afraid of trying things because I was afraid I was gonna fail.’

This season Toya plans on spreading her wings and flying high. ‘You see a lot more growth, you see us with our kids more, and we’re doing more this season. Last season I felt like it was really like an introduction for me, letting everybody know all the hurt and pain I’ve dealt with over the years and this season I’m letting go and I’m moving forward with my life and that’s a good thing for me’
