Brazilian born, New York raised and Florida based emcee Laws has been creating quite a buzz for himself lately.  First appearing on the hip-hop scene back in 2007, Laws has since gone on to appear in XXL as a ‘Show & Prove’ artist. Laws’ music is what seems to capture most and by most I mean just about everyone. This emcee is extremely versatile, from providing classic hip-hop rhymes over classic hip-hop beats to creating clever rhyme schemes over electronica beats. Though Laws works a lot with the production duo J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (who have recently produced tracks for Rick Ross), he has also worked with Don Canon, 9th Wonder and DJ Khalil. Shortly after the release of his highly anticipated mixtape, 4:57, some of Laws’ material began to be placed into rotation on Shade 45 radio. Yesterday, Laws re-released his 4:57 project as a no-DJ version with a few added bonus tracks entitled 5:01 (Overtime). This release features songs Big K.R.I.T., Emilio Rojas, Jay Rock, Calvin Harris and more.
