Serena Williams hosted a Hamptons Magazine Cover Party New York City last night and her partner was none other than Russell Simmons who joined her to celebrate the work of the Diamond Empowerment Fund, the non-profit organization founded by Russell which Serena is on the board of, which the event benefited. Founded in 2007, The Diamond Empowerment Fund™ (D.E.F.) is a non-profit international organization with the mission to raise money to support education initiatives that develop and empower economically disadvantaged people in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource.
Serena looked amazing as usual dawning a leopard tight mini skirt which totally distracted everyone from the cast on her leg. If you don’t know, Serena had to pull out of the U.S. Open because of her injury. The tennis star was a gracious host last night taking pictures with everyone.
