The first White House resident to be born in the 21st century, 9-year-old Sasha Obama looks like she has a pretty decent sense of style going. When I was 9, I wore fuzzy leopard leggings with a bubblegum pink Lily Pulitzer t-shirt and thought I was working it. I now realize that was not the case. Sasha, on the other hand, extroverted and playful, has a good relationship with the cameras and they’ve been their to capture this little one’s A+ fashion choices from the beginning.
Michelle Obama took the White House by storm as a modern-day Jackie O., in fun, affordable fashions that people respected because her style was so glamorous, yet so attainable. Her savvy style has trickled down to Sasha and she’s helping the 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue stay hip even before she’s hit double-digits!

The Jet-setter
Out to lunch with Kin Juan Carlos of Spain, Sasha has on a canary yellow two-tiered J. Crew tutu skirt, with peach linen tank and flower accent. She completed the look with gold flats, three strands of faux pearls, and a blue anklet that has become her signature wardrobe staple.

Cold Weather Chic
On her way to trade in the chilly weather for some rays in Hawaii, Sasha paired a bright floral dress with plum-colored rights under gray, slouchy boots. A black, wool thigh-length coat with matching knitted hat topped everything off, along with a multi-colored, heart-patterned tote.

Strutting for the Paps
Leaving the White House with her parents, Sasha had the whole ‘wind-in-the-hair’ effect going. Her gray striped tank tunic over white leggings and zebra-striped bag were brought to life by the bright pink piping on the bag, and purple jelly sandals.

Michelle has been known to embrace color, and her offspring appears to be no different. Here, Sasha is wearing a very age-appropriate tired pink dress with ribbon accents and crossover top. It is finished with a baby pink cardigan.
