A Westminster police detective and a Chino prison guard plead not guilty to the kidnapping and rape of a 25-year-old woman who was carjacked Saturday at Ontario Mills Mall, Ontario police officials said. Officer Anthony Nicholas Orban, 30, and Jeff Thomas Jelinek, 30, an officer for the California Department of Corrections, were charged Tuesday with kidnapping to commit another crime and rape.
Ontario Police Deputy Chief John Evans said Orban abducted a 24-year-old restaurant employee as she left work Saturday at Ontario Mills Mall.
