Born James Marshall “Jimi” Hendrix (November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970) was an Black American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He may be often considered to be one of the greatest electric guitarist in the history of rock music. Jimi was an all out rock star and many have embarked on a rock star lifestyle but Jimi Hendrix did it. We all have heard crazy stories about Jimi’s lifestyle and only to go along with his floral-print bellbottoms, so Hendrix is a musical icon that will be forever remembered as one of the greatest of all time.

This time around Sneaker Me Stupid brings an old-school trio of Converse Chuck Taylors that will feature unique upper graphics that will look familiar to Hendrix fans… The design inspiration is taken from the album artwork of Electric Ladyland and also Axis: Bold as Love. The third sneaker feature inspiration from one of the on-stage outfits worn by Hendrix, this Converse Chuck Taylor Jimi Hendrix Pack should definitely hit the right note of some sneakerheads. Check out the extra shots after the jump and expect these at select Converse retailers in August 2010.
