Tracy Morgan will be showing up on newsstands near you this week as one of three covers for the August issue of GQ which is also the annual Comedy issue. Featured on the two other covers for this Comedy issue are comedians Paul Rudd (of I Love You, Man) and Zach Galifianakis (of The Hangover). Comedians Aziz Ansari, Bill Murray and Joan Rivers are also featured throughout the pages amongst a host of other funny men and women we love.

Morgan, who began his career in comedy back in 1994 on the hit sitcom Martin where he played the character Hustleman. But it wasn’t until his started with Saturday Night Live that his career really began to take off with the character Brian Fellows who is the host of ‘Brian Fellows Safari Planet’ and has a sixth grade education. After having his own show on NBC, The Tracy Morgan Show, back in 2003 you can now catch him starring as Tracy Jordan on the Emmy-Award winning show ‘30 Rock‘.

In this issue, Tracy Morgan discusses why it’s just so hard to be cool and funny simultaneously amongst other things. ‘Cool is the enemy of funny,’ Morgan says. ‘You can’t be cool and funny at the same time. Only Eddie Murphy can do that.’
