Thanks to the proficient people at Sirius Satellite Radio, Hip Hop Nation held a Reflection Eternal Release Party which was hosted by MTV’s Sway and had Dj Premier on the 1s & 2s. Thankfully I had the opportunity to attend. It’s been ten years since Talib Kweli and Hi Tek came together with their album Train Of Thought, which was more than ground-breaking for both artists. After they embarked on a national tour word has made their rounds that this album would bring back the nostalgia of real hip-hop. Revolutions Per Minute features artists from J.Cole, Mos Def, Bun B to Estelle.

If you have yet to hear their single Just Begun feat Mos Def, Jay Electronica, and J.Cole, it does not only guarantee a hit but an epic album to say the least. I, as well as every fan in the room were waiting in anticipation to hear what their collaboration after ten years would sound like. Talib and Hi Tek failed to disappoint after performing two singles off their album Revolutions Per Minute and my personal favorite “In This World.” I have no doubt that Revolutions Per Minute dropping May 18th is going to prove to be another classic.

Thanks to Dj Preimier he posted the radio session on his blog for you to hear for yourself.
