What a week to be a celebrity!

While being famous definitely has its benefits it is not without its downsides.  The biggest one it seems is making a relationship last.

Breaking news this week followed America’s sweetheart Sandra Bullock who confirmed she had filed for divorce from her philandering husband Jesse James.  That wasn’t the only little secret she had up her sleeves, she introduced her son Louie to the world.

She began the adoption process with her soon to be ex husband in January but will now be a single mother to the toddler that arrived into the world in a post Katrina New Orleans.

High five for Sandy for putting her son first and not putting up with a cheater.

News of another whopper of a break-up leaked to the public this morning.  After months of being apart, it seems Halle Berry and her model boyfriend/baby daddy Gabriele Aubrey have split.

Various stories coming out of varying media outlets but the general consensus is that the nine year age difference finally caught up with them.  He reportedly started to get the wandering eye and decided to break up with the Oscar winner.

If you ask me, this is much more honorable than go the way of Tiger Woods or Jesse James.

Break ups are hard but since they weren’t married things won’t be as complicated for them. Rumor has it the duo have been working out a resolution to the financial and custody details for their precious daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry.

The split is said to be amicable.

Jenna Jameson had her live in boyfriend Tito Ortiz arrested on suspicion of domestic abuse this week.  Long story short, he said she was addicted to Oxycontin she said he threw her in a bathtub.  Now both are backpeddling and say things were ‘dramatically distorted and misinterpreted.’

The couple, who have twin sons, are working through their issues and plan to reconcile.

Health has been a big issue for 90’s rocker turned reality star Bret Michaels suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, which causes bleeding in the fluid-filled spaces around the base of the brain.  He has been in the Intensive Care Unit at an undisclosed hospital recovering.

‘Bret remains in critical condition in ICU under 24-hour supervision by doctors and medical staff,’ said a statement first posted Thursday on Michael’s website by his tour manager, Janna Elias. ‘If a patient survives the initial rupture, the first seven to 10 days after are the most critical as an additional rupture or other complications may arise.’

The Poison frontman is currently competing on the NBC reality series, ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ which was filmed last fall.  He is aiming to attend the live series finale on May 23rd.

He also plans to go ahead with tour plans over the summer with Lynyrd Skynyrd.
