Floyd Mayweather dominated Shane Mosley Saturday night in Las Vegas to win by unanimous decision. My score card had the fight 11 rounds to 1 for Floyd Money Mayweather. The judges scored the fight 119-109, 119-109 and 118-110. Shane Mosley hit Mayweather with a crushing blow in the second round and I thought to myself that we may see Mayweather get knocked out for the first time, but the man they call MONEY put on a show of boxing excellent that most fighters should pay attention to, study and try to duplicate his style.
Am I the only one who thinks Larry Merchant is a hater? Throughout the night he called Mayweather the artful dodger, citing that he won’t fight Manny Pacquiao, but that’s not the case. Floyd just wants Manny Pacquiao to take a drug test to assure that they are on even playing fields and with a perfect record on the line I don’t blame him.
Something else I noticed is that Floyd Mayweather makes fighters look horrible in the ring. Fighters who were once considers the best. Floyd has fought nothing but the best fighters w/ the exception of Manny and destroyed each and every one of them. I decided to take a look back at some of Money Mayweather’s fights to highlight this point and what I came up with is Floyd is the best and he does it while living a life most rappers would die get shot to have.
