Another young, talented man was killed too soon. Last night at the Modesto A. Maidique campus of Florida International University in West Miami-Dade, football star Kendall Berry was stabbed to death.
Police say that there witnesses saw two men arguing outside around 9pm and one man stabbed the other. The other happened to be one of the stars of the football team, Kendall Berry.
The university said spring football practice would be suspended indefinitely.
‘Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kendall’s family,’ said FIU President Mark B. Rosenberg. ‘We are here to support them and our entire university community as all of us come to terms with this tragedy.’
Kendall’s parents were notified of his death last night and he is survived by seven siblings. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Berry family.
