An explosion at Moscow’s Lubyanka subway station occurred Monday morning at 7:50 AM, reportedly killing 26 civilians. 15 people died in the train, and 11 on the platform. At least 15 others are wounded.

The cause of the explosion is undetermined at this time, but the explosive device was believed to be on the metro car. The number coming out of this tragedy is continuing to grow. Two female suicide bombers blew themselves up Monday in twin attacks on Moscow subway stations jam-packed with rush-hourpassengers, killing at least 37 people and wounding 102, officials said.

They blamed the carnage on rebels from the Caucasus region and it is believed to have female suicide bombers.
