President Obama held a press conference to address the Gulf Oil spill, he proclaimed; ‘unprecedented disaster’ and calling out a
‘scandalously close relationship’ between oil companies and regulators…the American people should know that from the moment this disaster began, the federal government has been in charge of the response effort,’ .
Dope move by the President because in the last couple days everyone was wondering when someone will step in and take charge of this situation.
The oil spilling from the blast has reached the shores of the Gulf Coast and now many scientists are calling the spill worst than the Exxon Valdez. The leak is currently releasing 5,000 barrels of oil per day and the wild life of the Gulf Coast is suffering.
