Hip hip hooray!!! It seems that progress is coming to our gay & lesbian brothers and sisters. The House voted Thursday night to repeal ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’ the controversial Clinton-era policy barring openly gay men and lesbians from serving in the military.

Super dope achievement, the passage of this bill gives hope that change is possible and if you believe strong enough and fight your heart out good things will happen.  It is great day for all those who have fought for this and all those who had to hide their sexuality in fear of being ‘outed’.

The house passed the bill with a 234 to 194 vote. However the bill won’t be implemented until December. Either way it is a step in the right direction, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), who is openly gay, said that;

‘Those who tell me that the presence of gay and lesbian members of the military undermine the effectiveness of a fighting force and undermine unit cohesion must have never heard of Israel,’

THE NEXT FEW PAGES ARE DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO FOUGHT FOR THE REPEAL OF ‘DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL’
