Kanye West allowed us to view a snippet of his upcoming short film “Runaway” during the MTV VMA preshow on Sunday. Mr. West hinted about making a movie companion to his upcoming LP and we can only assume that Runaway is the movie he spoke of.
Kanye also spoke on his Twitter account about filming in Prague and wrapping after 16 hours of shooting. The trailer for “Runaway” opens onto a lonely wooded road to a piano intro that we would expect Dr. Bruce Banner to be hitchhiking to.
The clip transitions to a group of deer in the forest, a toned and dancing ballerina, a woman with feathers and then the silhouette of Kanye walking away from an explosion with this feathered woman in his arms.
What does it all mean? We don’t know what to make of the video or what Kanye is going through right now but we do know it will add to the genius that is Kanye West
