Fashion is constantly evolving and so are the up and coming designers. Concentrating on being more eco-friendly, the pieces within their lines are made up of environmentally sensitive fabrics, excluding detrimental chemicals and dyes. This is where the coined term “eco-fashion” originated from. The materials utilized by designers in the production, such as plastic from recycled old soda bottles and natural fibers, have been used in the past, but are now becoming the latest fad. “Eco-fashions” first hit the runway in February 2005 during New York City’s Fashion Week. Designers such as Ceca Georgieva, Hafsteinn Juliusson, Cbijoux’s, Tara Baoth Mooney’s, Woolly Pocket, Anni Rapinoja Taidekoulutus, and Carmel Walsh have already contributed with exquisite yet peculiar accessories. I am not going to lie- I honestly not only appreciate their art work, but would actually wear some of these articles! NO SERIOUSLY- I WOULD!(ugh ,ok fine- maybe not all these pieces but still) So…the real question is: Are YOU going to let this “grow” on you. Let me know what you think…(Lets all be open minded now……)
