We celebrate the success of Ruthie Davis a lot here at GlobalGrind. Ruthie once set atop the Reebok empire as the Creative Director of the athletic brand, and designed the most popular shoe to date, The Aerobic sneaker. Now we are excited to see the bold shoe designs from her Spring 2010 collection that appeared on the runway of Dennis Basso during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City.

The shoe features a five-inch heel with criss-crossing straps in metallic, black, bandage, nude and mint patent leathers with a touch of one of Davis’s trademarks, clear plastic. The end result: modern, forceful and feminine. An alternative color after the flip, plus images from the runway.
