Leading up to the 2012 presidential elections, everyday we catch a glimpse of the field of candidates starting to pan out. Some of these individuals hint at running, while some have already flat out declared their candidacy.
Every candidate is unique in their own way, from Michele Bachmann to Donald Trump, they are all making a case as to why they would be a great president. At the same time, these potential candidates have been throwing quite a few shots at President Obama.
We’ve found candidates that range from former pizza CEOs to Alabama Supreme Court Justices. In their own unique way, each has separated themselves from everyone else. Let’s take a look at some of these candidates and see how they stack up.

Possible Candidate: Michele Bachmann
Position: Bachmann hasn’t officially thrown her hat in the ring yet. She’s been circling the possibility, but hasn’t landed.
Greatest Line: “I just take the bible for what it is, I guess, and recognize that I am not a scientist, not trained to be a scientist. I’m not a deep thinker on all of this. I wish I was. I wish I was more knowledgeable, but I’m not a scientist.”

Candidate: Herman Cain
Position: Cain is definitely trying to be the president.
Greatest Line: Cain told reporters that he wouldn’t be comfortable appointing a Muslim to a position in the federal government, because of the “creeping attempt to gradually ease Sharia law and the Muslim faith into our government.” Doesn’t he know that the constitution took care of that already? Oh, and did we mention, Cain is the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza?

Candidate: Fred Karger
Position: Karger is the first Republican to formally file for a presidential run.
Greatest Line: On why he’s running: “I’m openly gay and that’s never happened before — never before has an openly gay candidate run for president.” Another thing you should know about Karger is that he has a bone to pick with former Massachusetts Governor, Mitt Romney.

Candidate: Roy Moore
Position: Moore was the Alabama Supreme Court Justice who was removed from office for refusing to get rid of a Ten Commandments monument.
Greatest Line: “I think that conservatives have been starved long enough.” It’s been only 2 and a half years since George W. Bush left office.

Position: Newt is a former Speaker of the House and hasn’t officially signed on for a presidential run.
Greatest Line: Talking to a church congregation he said, “I am convinced that if we do not decisively win the struggle over the nature of America, by the time they’re my age they will be in a secular atheist country, potentially one dominated by radical Islamists.”

Possible Candidate: Donald Trump
Postition: Trump hasn’t officially said he’s running, but has consistenly pointed out that he’ll make a better president than Obama.
Greatest Line: “Why doesn’t he show his birth certificate?” Trump has been leading a crusade for President Obama to show his birth certificate, proving he was born in the United States. Meanwhile, Trump’s so called birth certificate is not an official New York birth certificate, it’s a document generated by Jamaica Hospital. Official birth certificates are issued by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Office of Vital Records.
