2011 is going to be a big year for Nas. The emcee, who recently celebrated his 37th birthday, just announced that he will be releasing The Lost Tapes Vol. 2 on December 14 . The first Lost Tapes, which was released in 2002, collected unreleased Nas songs from throughout his career and is generally thought of as one of his best albums. After he releases Lost Tapes Vol. 2, Nas will be focusing on his 10th studio album, which he hopes to release by Summer 2011. Nas has reportedly been in the studio with producers such as Kanye West, RZA, Bangladesh, and has been quoted as saying that this is probably ‘the most important record of [his] career.’ Exciting! In the meantime, Nas is featured on ‘Back In Back,’ the new single from Carlos Santana’s new album of classic rock covers.
