Senate Majority Leader, Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada has been in full support of repealing ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’, the controversial policy restricting the United States military from revealing closeted gay, lesbian, and bisexual service members and at the same time barring those who are openly gay, lesbian, or bisexual from military service.
An historical vote will be held next week on the Senate floor, this afternoon Reid informed Republicans that he intends repeal of the ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy to the Senate Floor. Not only did Sen. Reid speak up to the Republicans but also super star and super supporter of the gay rights movement, Lady Gaga tweeted about the policy today.
