That’s right, these gas vapor feigns have apparently been stringing up webs in the evaporative canister vent lines – a ventilation system designed to absorb fuel vapour – of Mazda6 models blocking the lines and putting extra pressure on the fuel tank, potentially causing it to crack and leak.

Cabbage Patch Snacktime Kids Doll
Less than a year after it’s release in 1996, Mattel recalled more than 500,000 of these cute dolls leading us to wonder what could possibly be so dangerous about a baby doll? We’ll give you a hint: the doll had a motorized mouth used to draw in plastic vegetables stuck in it’s mouth. If you haven’t figured it out by now, it has something to with the fact that children’s fingers are almost exactly the same width as the vegetables. When kids began sticking their fingers into the dolls mouth – as kids will do – or accidentally dropped hair into the opening, the motor would kick in and refuse to let go as it pulled whatever it had a hold of further and further in.

Sky Dancers
Sky Dancers played off children’s love of all things flying. Not only that, but children’s love of being the cause of a toy’s flight. The problem with the Sky Dancer, however, was the fact that while kids could cause it to fly they couldn’t control where it flew. So here we have a helicopter like device with blades spinning at god knows what speeds shooting off it’s platform and into the eyes of whoever stood within three feet of it. After 150 reports of injuries during the 6 years the toy was out, 8.9 million Sky Dancers were recalled.

New Easy Bake Oven
If there’s anything the Cabbage Patch Snacktime Doll taught us, it’s that kids love sticking their fingers in places they don’t belong. Cut to the Easy Bake Oven. How makers of the Easy Bake Oven did not see the dangers of giving children a plastic oven with a slot perfect for fingers is beyond us. Unfortunately it took 77 incidents of burnt fingers 15 of which were as bad as 2nd and 3rd degree burns and one case in which a five year old girl had to have part of her finger amputated before 985,000 were recalled in 2007.

Lawn Darts

Pop quiz:What happens when you take darts, blow them up to ten times their original size, replace the traditional dart board with an entire lawn and then replace the standard adult player with kids?

Answer: a liability. In all seriousness, lawn darts are probably the most dangerous item on this list causing
