For over 15 years, I have been committed to the fashion industry, combining urban aesthetics with the classic Ivy League heritage of American design and style.  After having great fun with Phat Fashions, seeing it grow from a small New York City showroom to a globally recognized lifestyle brand, I now embark on a new journey to dress America. 

Russell Simmons Argyleculture, available at Macy’s and www.argyleculture.com, is a new menswear collection commemorating the class, stature, and respect achieved by the “urban graduate” who has “arrived” in the world, offering quality products with a timeless tailored aesthetic. The brand represents a reinterpretation of understated luxury, sophistication, and the new American lifestyle.

Recently, it became clear that the style of my contemporaries was evolving, as was my personal style.  I created Argyleculture to continue my honest expression as a designer and to bring consumers a new brand that addressed their fast increasing lifestyles, while remaining modern, cool, but also a bit familiar.  The resulting products tell an unending story.  With Argyleculture, I invite you to partake in our exploration of iconic style and the dream of a new America.  Enjoy.
