Wiz Khalifa has just released a CD quality version of ‘Fly Solo’ now that his deal with Atlantic Records has been announced. In recent weeks, Wiz fans might have heard him perform this track but until today it has not been previously available. ‘Fly Solo’ sways a little differently from some of the more recent, blunt-laden music we’ve been hearing from Wiz Khalifa lately. He definitely experiments in sound with this track which makes one think of Travie McCoy from Gym Class Heroes or Kid Cudi. This track has a bit of a ska feel to it and we get a sample of Wiz’s singing voice a bit without any annoying level of auto-tune. What do you think of the song?
