So although Tiger Woods is returning to the golf game, his business opportunities are not. The day after Tiger announced his return to golf, Gatorade announced that they have dropped Tiger Woods and their endorsement of him.

‘We no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship. We wish him all the best.’- said a spokeswoman for the drink.

There was no reason given behind the ending of Tiger’s endorsement, but most speculate it’s because of the recent drama with his wife. Gatorade is not the first to sever ties with Tiger. Accenture was the first company to part ways with Tiger, followed by AT&T. He still has endorsements with Nike and Electronic Arts.
