It has been nearly 15 years this September 13th that will take us back to the early AM moments as we all were notified about the Tupac Shakur shooting in Las Vegas. Tupac was a legend reason being his presence is still felt in 2010, and now ESPN will shed light on a story of Tupac Shakur. 

On September 7th, the 14th year anniversary of the shooting, ESPN will air One Night in Vegas which is a part of their 30 For 30 series. We have seen many directors throughout the series and now director Reggie Bythewood will focus not only on the shooting which occurred soon after Mike Tyson’s TKO of Bruce Seldon, and a deeper look at the relationship of the two.

This is a different angled story on Tupac, as ESPN made sure it was sport related. Tupac and Mike may have been two of the 90s most rebellious entertainers, who both happened to convicted of rape and serving jail sentences. It will be interesting to find out what there relationship was like and how they speak of each other. The fact that the documentary will be told from Iron Mike’s perspective makes the story more intriguing, back in these years these were two individuals that you would feel the energy off of.

“He looked very destructive. He came across as a world beater,” Tyson said. “As far as his music was concerned, his presence and his energy … the word I’m looking for is fearless. He came across as fearless. When you come across somebody that’s fearless, you’re a little bit in awe. You’re like. ‘Whoa!’ He’s ready to blow, too, at any moment; very volatile. He’s very focused. He can go from one second to the next and get very focused.”
