The Internet and Christian community has been a buzz about Jay Z and his alleged involvement with numerous cults. I mean come on he’s married to Beyonce a young Southern girl who has been closely linked to her church in Houston St. Johns along with longtime family friend and Pastor, Rudy Rasmus. I mean Matthew Knowles and his family was among the first families to call St. Johns home, so the church is practically home for Beyonce. I know what you all are thinking but that’s another blog.
In a recent interview Jay Z dispelled those rumors by saying,
“I don’t know where it started. I don’t know where it came from. I really think it’s really silly. For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don’t believe in religion. I don’t believe in Christians o Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it’s one God. I think it’s all the same God, and I don’t believe in Hell.
‘Am I a part of some sect or cult? That sounds stupid to me. It’s ignorant to even say, and I guess that’ll be the last time I address that. It’s ignorant to me”.

Recently I saw a video on youtube and I had an opportunity to view comments on whether Jay-Z’s video for ‘On To The Next One’ had hidden messages, and of course the viewpoints were far too vast to discuss. I think that its important for us to realize that we stay focused on what’s important to you religion might be important, to the next man context is important, but to me relationship with Christ is and well your relationship really isn’t any of my business, but what holds true to what is, is based on the fruits that I bear and how the affect you; hopefully it’s positive.
So what I’m trying say is that although your relationship isn’t any of my business the fruits that you bear provide me with a blueprint of your heart/relationship with him and if I see some things that are in question its my responsibility to restore you in loveà God is love so rather than searching for his faults by providing assumed truths sweep around your own front door and if you don’t agree with the message Jay Z is delivering use your own censorship methods.
