A new episode of MTV‘s ‘When I Was 17‘ airs this Saturday and features Swizz Beatz, Adam Levine (of Maroon 5) and Kathy Griffin. In this episode, Swizz talks about how he wasn’t allowed entry into the clubs which he was hired to DJ at. Of course, this had everything to do with him being 17 years old and not his skills on the wheels of steel. Swizz goes on to discuss more in depth about how his 17-year-old experiences helped frame the multi-platinum producer’s success today, explains how he got his start in music and tells a funny story or two along the way.
