Last night at the home of Russell Simmons, Swizz Beatz was honored by the Foundation For Ethnic Understanding, which is a national non-profit dedicated to strengthening relations between ethnic communities.  They are committed to the belief that direct, face-to-face dialogue between ethnic communities is the most effective path towards the reduction of bigotry and the promotion of reconciliation and understanding.

It was great to see Swizz, who mentioned that half of his family is Muslim, be recognized for his work in the community and his work to build a better and happier world.  After discussing being racially profiled many times while traveling through airports, he concluded his remarks by asking the world to smile more and bring more happiness.  Congrats Swizz!  We can’t wait for the anthem to the peace movement!
