You might know her as ditzy blonde Karen in Mean Girls, or the good girl she usually plays in movies such as Dear John, Big Love and Les Miserables, but these days, Amanda Seyfried has taken a turn.
Not only is Amanda playing a porn star in the upcoming movie Lovelace, but she also shares some details with ELLE magazine about her opinions regarding love, sex and vaginas.
As the August cover girl, Amanda talks about accepting the role of Linda Lovelace in her upcoming movie:
I read the script and I was like, ‘Wow, this is the riskiest thing that’s happening [in Hollywood] right now.’ The first thing you think about is that it could have ruined my career. At the same time, I was like, ‘This is my chance to show them, to show the industry, to be recognized.
On physical attraction in relationships, the new face of Givenchy tells the mag:
Everybody I’ve dated I’ve been sexually attracted to immediately. Sparks don’t grow—your vagina doesn’t become more inclined to wanting someone just because you’re around them.
We hear you girl! Even with all her success, Amanda seems down to earth and more than willing to talk about her lovers. On her ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper, she says:
We love each other… He’ll always be in my life regardless of what his girlfriends or future wife think. I’m never going to be with a guy that can’t deal with my friendship with him.
But Amanda has moved on and dropped a few hints about her new lad, telling the magazine:
He’s someone separate from my industry life—I’ve known him since he was 16… I picture him as the father of my children all the time. But it is a fantasy right now.
