Icona Pop have finally released a new video for their pop-inspired dance song “Girlfriend.”
The video showcases the girls driving around on the road in a remote-industrial-type town, later ditching their ride to hop on a freight train, jet-setting on a new adventure.
“Talking bout the lights, the dirt, the sh*t, that hurts/We’re not gonna turn around/We’re doing this for good, for worse/The gift, the curse, we’re not gonna back down/All I need in this life of sin is me and my girlfriend/Down to ride till the happy end, is me and my girlfriend,” sing the girls.
You can catch more of the Swedish singers on their forthcoming debut album titled This is Icona…Pop, which is set to release on September 24th.
The “I Love It” singers will also be kicking off their upcoming North American tour next month.
