When we first got wind of the collaboration between Phillip Lim and Target, the first thing we did was mark our calendars for its September 15th debut.

Now, with just a month before the 3.1 Phillip Lim collection hits stores, we’re finally getting a sneak peek of what we’ll all be lining up outside for.

The 100-piece line, which Lim says is the perfect fit for the “everyday men and women,” boasts a range of $20 to $300, but plenty of the pieces are affordable, just how we like ’em.

T Magazine gave us a glimpse of a few of the items Target shoppers and fashionistas (and fashionistos) everywhere will swarm the store for. The fellas have a fresh selection to look forward to, including a navy and camo print long-sleeve shirt for $29.99 and a pair of $44.99 cool high-top sneakers. And for the ladies, there’s the $34.99 trapeze-style satchel and a rich $74.99 sequin dress.

Though the line is mostly neutral, we can also expect pops of patterns and prints with leopard, floral, comic-book, and camo designs.

The contemporary designer opened up to the magazine about how invested he is in the collaboration:

“This is really personal, because growing up, I was a Target customer,” Lim said. “My parents were always taking me to Target for back-to-school shopping, and I would find things, but they were not quite right. This was my chance to go back and relive this and do it right.”

We already love what we’re seeing, so if there’s a lot more where that came from, the line will undoubtedly be another win for Target in the designer label department.
