Being “roasted” is a right of passage in Hollywood; only the best of the best are selected to serve as the butt of an entire night’s worth of jokes and insults alike.
Last night, Comedy Central aired The Roast Of James Franco; where the 35-year-old’s closest friends, co-stars and family gathered to share a few laughs at his expense. Known to throw a few jabs himself, it’s no surprise Franco took each punchline in stride – no matter how far below the belt they hit.
Actor Seth Rogan served as the evening’s host – or master of the roast. He was joined by comedic geniuses Andy Samberg, Sarah Silverman, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Aziz Ansari, Nick Kroll, Jeff Ross and Natasha Leggero.
But James wasn’t the only one being roasted. No one was spared as each comedian took their turn at the podium – not even James’ grandma!
No they haven’t, James.
