Turns out Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro actually called Amanda Berry’s mother and told her she was OK. Bizarre but true. The new information is coming from a videotaped FBI interrogation where Castro said he called her mother and told her that Amanda was his wife now. He immediately hung up. The man in the video above just confessed to killing a man while he was driving drunk. “My name is Matthew Cordle and on June 22, 2013, I hit and killed Vincent Canzani. This video will act as my confession.” He has yet to be charged, but the county prosecutor is pushing for aggravated vehicular homicide. [YouTube]
