Uh…This one is a little on the strange side.
For starters, there are very few circumstances under which a 10-year-old girl and a former video model should be wearing the same outfit, but when you live in the world of Money Mayweather, anything goes.
According to TMZ, while it was fight night in Vegas this weekend, the real “fight” was between Mayweather’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Shantel Jackson, and Josie Harris, the mother of Mayweather’s 10-year-old daughter. The problem: Shantel showed up in an outfit identical to the one Josie’s daughter Jirah was wearing to the fight, from head to toe.
But it was no coincidence.
Josie says the dress came out great — but when they showed up to the fight, she noticed Floyd’s on-and-off-again side piece Shantel Jackson wearing the same exact dress (right).
According to Josie, she paid Costello $795 for a one-of-a-kind dress, and now she’s pissed the guy gave a replica to none other than Floyd’s girlfriend … who also sat ringside.
Josie tells us, “It’s an unspoken rule and a cardinal sin for a ‘real designer’ to dress clients alike going to the same major event … Tacky, tacky, tacky.”
And Josie didn’t stop there, turning her anger toward Jackson as well … adding, “She is a total gold digger … She conveniently came back around 2 days before Floyd got his $41.5 million check.”
Aw, damn damn damn. The designer is not about to come up off a refund for the dress though. Project Runway‘s Michael Costello, who designed the dresses, said there was no exclusivity clause, and if Josie wanted the dress not to be replicated, it would have cost a whole lot more than $795.
