Timberlands, Timberlands, Timberlands everywhere!

Last night, Timberland celebrated the 40th anniversary of the new classic, the Timberland yellow work boot, also known affectionately to the inner city masses as the Construction Timbs. The celebration was a dual one, as the brand launched the Timberland Earthkeepers Heritage Collection with live music by Wild Nothing, along with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Guests were treated with the chance to personalize genuine leather scraps from the fabrication of Timberland boots, which were crafted into keychains and USB bracelets, as they sipped cocktails and checked out the new collection.

The real stunner of the night was the tribute paid to the iconic yellow boot in a few ways – starting by introducing the Timberland 40th Anniversary LTD Collection. The collection features amped-up versions of three classic silhouettes – the yellow boot, World Hiker and Super Boot, all of which were on display. They’re only making 1,973 pairs of each style, and all will be numbered on the inside of the tongue. One style will be released each month through select retailers, starting with the Super 6” that was released yesterday.

Check out the photos below for a full visual recap of the event.
