Are Meek Mill and Wale dropping a joint mixtape today?
Last night, Meek Mill sent out a tweet announcing a new mixtape with fellow MMG labelmate Wale that read:
“New tape coming tomar Me x wale #letsgetit.”
The news is slightly unexpected considering that Meek just released his Dreamchasers 3 mixtape two short weeks ago. So we have to ask; where did he find the time to collab with Wale in such a short period of time?
Could this be a ploy to stir up some publicity, or are the MMG rappers really delivering a surprise mixtape today?
Now before you get too excited, Wale responded to a post regarding the alleged new mixtape minutes after Meek’s announcement, tweeting out:
“@JUKEBOXDC @MeekMill na we was just talkin shyt. I dared him to say it.”
There you have it! It looks like Meek Mill and Wale won’t be releasing a joint mixtape anytime soon, but be sure to look out for collaborations from the two on MMG’s recent compilation album Self Made Vol. 3, available now.
