Jada Pinkett misses Tupac – that much is understood.

Earlier this week, it seemed as though she might have been mourning his loss when she uploaded a cryptic message to Facebook that spoke on all the things she missed from her past.

The beautiful mom, actress, and wife wrote:

This morning I woke up to the screeching howl of my husky outside. His howls mirrored my broken, empty heart that plagued me this morning. I woke up missing so many people, so many things from my past. This morning, I missed the nights I would fall asleep to my grandmother playing “Moonlight Sonata” in the living room below my bedroom, and I thought of all my friends and loved ones I had lost to violence, accidents, jail or drugs. I thought of all the many people who had been in my life for a season (teachers, friends) who I no longer have contact with. I mourned the distance between myself and the world because we are all our own universe where we experience realities that are not always understood by others. This morning I cried and I cried and I mourned. But these tears were like rain on my soul because after the allowance of my tears came my gratitude for all that is and for all that was. My tears also gave me gratitude for the understanding that emotions are like storms…they pass and the sun does rise again:)

Have your feelings. They don’t kill us. Happy Weds. J.

Jada never mentions Tupac Shakur specifically, but as we all know, the legendary rapper died because of gun violence in the hip-hop community and he was definitely a huge part of her life.

After letting her emotions pass, Jada got back to work, showing off a new buzz cut hair ‘do and a new photoshoot her mini-me Willow Smith did with Karl Lagerfeld in Paris. She posted this picture:

With the upbeat caption:

Karl Lagerfeld shooting Willow on the streets of Paris! It’s been an amazing day!

Willow is doing big things out here! Check out another photo of Willow and Jada doing their Parisian thing up top and right below, and also join us in hoping Jada feels better soon.

Rest In Peace Pac.
