Jamie Foxx was quick to squash rumors that he and Katie Holmes are an item, despite various rumors that have been circulating since Tuesday.
The Django Unchained actor took a break from filming his new flick Annie to speak with Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell and gave the 411 on what the deal really is. Foxx said:
“[The rumors] are 100 percent not true,” Foxx, 45, tells Entertainment Tonight. “In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people.”
At the event in August – Apollo in the Hamptons: A Night of Legends – Foxx and Holmes parlayed the night away and shared a drink, but merely as friends. Katie, 34, is still single after her split from Tom Cruise in 2012, and most definitely ready to mingle.
We must admit that the two would have made for an interesting couple!
