Never one to shy away from controversy, Kanye West decided to make a bold statement at Barneys during a lunch outing in Beverly Hills. Rather than fly off the handle or lay hands at the allegedly discriminatory store, ‘Ye let his clothes do the talking.
Amid the stop and frisk drama surrounding the popular high-end department store, West popped in for a light lunch and some shopping, all while rocking a confederate flag on the sleeve of his army green bomber jacket.
The design is part of the much-talked-about merch from his Yeezus tour. According to the new proud-papa, he included the controversial flag in his designs to reclaim it from its racist roots.
Kanye was spotted stepping out of Barneys and into his matte black Lambo. We think he chose that message especially for his shopping trip.
Let ’em know, ‘Ye!
