According to sources, several people have been taken into custody at this time.

Police are investigating a home in the 1500-block of Rockland Avenue in Banksville.

UPDATE: 4:23 pm

The three male victims suffered varying injuries:

  • One was shot in the leg and foot
  • One was shot in the neck and shoulder
  • One was grazed in the head

The student who was grazed by a bullet in the head, made his way back to the school and was pulled inside by an administrator.

None of the victims’ injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

School police said today’s incident may have been related to an incident at the school in October, which prompted heightened security for about a week.

Pittsburgh PD spokesperson says the shooting victims are not cooperating with police at this time.

UPDATE 3:47pm

One of the victims is a 17-year-old male who was grazed in the head by a bullet. He has since been taken to a local hospital and is believed to be in stable condition.

According to WPX, all 3 students at Pittsburgh HS were shot outside school. 2 in non life-threatening condition, 1 critical.

There were three men wearing all black who came out of the woods and opened fire, according to homicide detectives.

Pittsburgh Police responded to a possible shooting near Brashear High School located in Pittsburgh, PA. At least 3 people have reportedly been shot.

It’s not known if they are students.

Newschopper 2 flew over the scene and captured at least one victim being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher.

The school is located in Beechview and is part of the Pittsburgh Public Schools District. There are about 1,500 students in the school, making it the largest high school in the district.
