Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is a character.
Like, he’s straight out of a Hollywood film. It’s hard to believe that this past year has been real life and now that we’ve pinpointed his likeness to that of late comedian Chris Farley, it all makes sense.
He’s making a movie.
I mean, how else do you explain his latest admission that he smoked crack AFTER Gawker editor John Cook went to crazy lengths earlier this year to obtain a video of the mayor doing just that…and then found out the video was missing along with some guy who was actually in the video?
Yep, it was a crazy plot that just continued to make our jaws drop at every turn.
But the time he denied smoking crack only to admit that he did later wasn’t the only time we thought Ford was in a movie…
How about…
That time he thought he was trying out for a Chris Farley character in a movie…
That time he really wanted to eat the food before it was time and gave an awkward stare a la Jonah Hill…
The time he bumped up his PG-13 rating to R while talking about who he prefers to have oral sex with (and yes…that happened)…
That time these costumes were required…
And that time he was such a bro with his fans…
That time he gave his best Three Musketeers impression…
And that time he was Chris Farley…again…
That time Hulk Hogan co-starred in his movie…
That time he didn’t know what the hell was going on on set…
That time he had a self-realization movie moment…
That time he went on a drunken rant and threatened to rip somebody’s throat while making grandiose statements a la Charlie Sheen…
That time…well…we’re not sure what’s going on here…
That time he played the part of the lying politician…
And just months later…the time he played the lying, crack-smoking politician embroiled in a drug-scandal who really needed Olive Pope’s help…
That time he was Chris Farley…AGAIN…
And last but not least, the time he admitted to buying illegal drugs in this comical scene that was totally made for Vince Vaughn…
The crazy thing is…these are all very real moments in the Mayor’s very insane life. Which just goes to show you. The truth is stranger than fiction.
And Rob Ford is the strangest of them all.
