New Orleans R&B singer August Alsina releases a new version of his song “Ghetto,” featuring a guest appearance from Memphis rapper Yo Gotti.
The original version of the song initially appeared on his Downtown: Life Under The Gun mixtape, which featured Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan. The 21-year-old singer made a name for himself earlier this year with his breakout hit “I Luv This Sh*t” featuring his labelmate Trinidad Jame$.
Besides readying his debut album, August is gearing up to hit the road with 2 Chainz and Pusha T on their “2 Good To Be T.R.U.” tour.
Yo Gotti’s version of the song will appear on August’s debut album, which is due out in 2014. Take a listen to August’s new song below.
